Giving new life to what has faded, a lasting Ashborn symbol
Featured Pieces
Born from the embers of lychee wood, this pair of cups carries the quiet poetry of renewal. The flowing glaze traces echo the passage of time, like rings of an ancient tree, while natural tonal shifts emerge from the kiln’s spontaneity. Each piece is singular, shaped by hand and guided by fire. In use, it evokes the soft fragrance of southern orchards, bringing a gentle, untamed elegance to everyday tea rituals.
Crafted with plant-ash glaze derived from firewood ash of the Tibetan plateau, this piece forms its surface naturally through ash settling and melting under high temperatures. The result is a rich spectrum of caramel browns, layered with organic variation. Each mark and texture is an unrepeatable dialogue between fire and earth, carrying both the raw vastness and quiet warmth of the highlands—bringing a subtle sense of ritual to everyday moments of coffee and bread.
Formed from firewood ash sourced from ancient Tibetan monasteries, the glaze settles in the kiln into a soft, tranquil celadon hue. The flowing textures across the surface recall mountain streams, while its mottled tones echo the timeworn walls of old temples—carrying both the crisp air of the highlands and the quiet warmth of fire. It gathers the essence of morning mist, incense, and forested stillness into each piece, accompanying everyday moments with a sense of calm and quiet presence.
